Careful introduction of a recently adopted dog to a group of young happy dogs has helped him begin to settle and learn. Great to watch the body language over a period of time and give the dogs breaks to keep it fun for all. Monday mornings at our specialist venue called Shortlands allows us time to work with all dogs. Next week we are looking at nose work. Why not join us soon #rescuedogs #dogtrainingWestSussex
We have started a brand new scentwork class in Hambledon on Saturday morning. Everyone who attended today was a little apprehensive about if their dog was going to let them down or even worse misbehave. But not so. They all did really well and very soon were having fun. Surrey Scentwork beginners course continues on 5th August but if you want to sign up for the next course which starts 9th. September contact us now.
So today we had a brilliant group of people join us to make a start teaching their dogs the basics of Scentwork. We were also delighted to welcome back some of our recent visitors and their dogs to build on their knowledge. Obviously because of the heat we were careful where we worked the dogs and at one time they were in the shade by the foxes den. I am sure the fox cubs learnt too 😀. With a delicious lunch and a play in the paddling pool to finish for both dogs and owners it was a great day. #dogtrainingWestSussex
