Dates With Walkabout Autumn 2024 Diary

Wednesday Lifeskills and Socialisation – 10 – 11:30 am Weekly

– restart on 4th September - your weekday introduction to our groups

Saturday Scentwork Stars - 1pm

– open to all who have already completed a beginners introduction.

** Our next course start dates from:

7th September and then fortnightly from 21stSeptember**

Sunday Lifeskills and Social Walk

- a relaxed training session working on our dog dog's manners around others.

– restarts1/9/24 and then fortnightly from 22/9/24

Sunday Obedience and Lifeskills

- a chance to work on our dog's obedience and behaviour around others.

– restarts 15/9/24 and then fortnightly

GSD & Working Breed Class – 10am

- an opportunity to work on those skills specific for your dog's breed

(tracking, search, distance control alongside the basics)

Beginners Dog Club – 10 to 11am

- an opportunity to fast track to the group through our entry level course.

Suitable for all ages and breeds covering all the basics and helping you understand your dog.

** Our next 5 week course start dates from:

28th September and then fortnightly**

Field Trips – a chance to join us for some adventures out and about with our dogs.

Selected dogs will be off lead if appropriate.

Various venues held once a fortnight starting soon– meeting time will be 1pm and each meet should last

between 90 minutes and 2 hours.

Fortnightly from 28/09/24

Urban Training – held once a week on Thursday mornings from 11am

– a more structured walk with all dogs being fully supervised and on lead.

This walk lasts approx. an hour with refreshments afterwards and will hopefully include a coffee stop with the dogs.

SKYE AWARD FUNDRAISER - 8/9/24 from 10am

- who will win this year?

This is our annual fundraiser and will include a raffle and awards ceremony alongside training and social walk.

Refreshments will be provided but we would love donations for the raffle. Thank you.

We look forward to working with you again this year and please don’t forget we are always happy to offer you a 121 session instead of two of your group meetings – just give me plenty of notice so I can make the arrangements.
